Forest honey is not made from flower nectar, but from honeydew - a sugary plant sap collected by bees. It has a strong aroma and dark color. The Steinzer apiary now offers its honey in a practical dispenser - perfect for the breakfast table. In the Hausruckviertel region of Upper Austria, on the border between Weibern and Gaspoltshofen, a small family runs their farm in harmony with nature. From April to August, the bees collect nectar and honeydew.
