How far in advance should I order a custom cake?
For whole cakes, we recommend placing your order at least two working days before the desired date. Custom-made cakes should be ordered at least four working days in advance. For particularly elaborate design requests, we recommend contacting Meinl Patisserie as early as possible.

Can I order a cake according to the number of guests?
Yes. During the personal consultation, the size of the cake will be tailored to the desired number of portions. This allows the creation to be planned according to the number of your guests and the type of celebration.

Can cakes be delivered in Vienna?
Homemade cakes can be delivered via Meinl's home delivery service within Vienna and the surrounding area. This also makes a cake a wonderful surprise for family and friends.

Can I order a vegan or gluten-free cake from Meinl Patisserie?
Special dietary requirements, such as vegan or gluten-free creations, can be discussed when making your enquiry. The Patisserie will be happy to advise you individually on the options available for your desired cake and design.

What information is helpful when ordering a custom cake?
To ensure the most personalised consultation possible, we recommend providing the occasion, desired date, approximate number of guests and initial design ideas when making your enquiry. Preferred colours, themes, personal dedications or special dietary requirements can also be taken into account. This allows the cake to be planned from the outset to perfectly suit your celebration.
