The red wine Cuvée Virginie de Valandraud, second wine of Château Valandraud, was created in 1992 as a tribute to Virginie, Jean-Luc Thunevin's daughter. Since 1997 it is an independent cuvée of the vineyards of Château Valandraud and is cultivated and vinified in the same way as the main wine.
