Description

The Chianti Classico area, comprising 7000 hectares of vineyards between Florence and Siena, is one of the most renowned rural territories in the world. The boundaries of the wine production area were defined as long ago as 1716, under an edict issued by Cosimo III de’ Medici. What makes it unique is the rare beauty of the landscape, high-quality agriculture and outstanding artistic heritage. The symbol of the wines produced in this area is the famous ‘Black Rooster’.
