This selection of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes is the best proof that an excellent white wine can also be made in an area traditionally reserved for growing red grapes. The Chardonnay, harvested at full maturity, provides structure and complexity, while the Sauvignon adds freshness and acidity. The small French oak barrels, in which part of the wine is fermented and aged for about nine months, give the wine a pleasant and unobtrusive toasted note.
