Château Mouton Rothschild
The second wine of Château Mouton Rothschild has been produced since the 1993 vintage. For this wine, grapes from younger vineyards are used; the vinification and ageing of the wine do not differ from the Premier Grand Cru. The first vintage was called "Le Second Vin de Mouton Rothschild", the following year the name changed to "Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild", which is the name of Madame Rothschild's house on the estate. At the same time, Philippine de Rothschild decided on the label, which is based on a poster by the Art Deco artist Jean Carlu from 1927.
