Kollwentz
This wine from Burgenland is an elegant cuvée made from Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt grapes. The grapes thrive on the sun-drenched slopes of the Leitha Mountains and mature for around 24 months in small French oak barrels. In the glass, the wine displays a deep ruby red colour and unfolds aromas of dark berries, fine spice notes and subtle wood nuances. On the palate, it is powerful, juicy and complex, with fine tannins and a long finish. Dry with approx. 13.5% ABV, it goes well with grilled meat, lamb, game dishes or mature cheese.
