Kistler Vineyards
Kistler is dedicated exclusively to the Burgundy varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and has developed over time into one of the best producers in California for these grape varieties. The grapes are fermented exclusively with natural yeasts. The Pinot Noirs are fermented in the same barrique in which they subsequently mature on the fine lees for about 10 months.

On the nose, complex aromas of dark cherries and raspberries, plus chocolate notes and spicy components of pepper, cloves and tobacco. Very elegant on the palate with clear tannins; soft on the tongue. Decant with pleasure. Goes well with spicy meat dishes with dark meat, such as roast beef with herb crust and a cranberry sauce, roast duck, roast goose, short roasted game, venison medallions or braised lamb.
