De Ladoucette
This wine has a concentration and density that only very old vines can achieve. Rich aromas of ripe fruit, fullness and balance in the content and a well-dosed maturity are the framework for this accomplished Loire wine. This wine has great ageing potential.

As early as the 18th century, the Counts Lafond owned the best and most prestigious sites of Pouilly Fumé and Sancerre. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, great-grandson of the count's family, was the first of the family to take care of the vineyard in 1972 and within a very short time led the wines to world fame. Today, his wines are considered to be among the best representatives of Sauvignon Blanc and are virtually indispensable for every gourmet temple in France, but also outside the Grande Nation.
The name Sancerre Comte Lafond is still reminiscent of previous generations and is produced on its own estate. The Pouilly Fumé wines find their origins in the cellars of the Château du Nozet, a château also built by the Comtes Lafond in the 19th century. With the Baron de L, only the best grapes from very good years are made into a special cuvée and bottled in a bottle modelled on the old ones.
