A cooperative reimagined! Craftsmanship, terroir and precision form the foundation of Domäne Wachau under the leadership of Roman Horvath MW and Heinz Frischengruber. Respect for nature and the soil underpins the work of the winegrowers on the steep slopes of the Wachau. Domäne Wachau is Austria’s leading winery with organically managed vineyards. Working on a small scale and largely by hand, the winegrowers tend an average of less than two hectares – with their full focus on every single vine. The wines from renowned vineyards such as Achleiten, Brandstatt and Kellerberg reflect their unique origins and embody an unmistakable, purist style characterised by depth and drinkability.
