This wine is a powerful yet elegant Saint-Julien from an outstanding vintage. In the glass, it displays a deep, dense ruby red colour with purple reflections. The nose is captivating with intense aromas of blackcurrants, cassis and ripe plums, accompanied by subtle notes of cedar wood, tobacco, leather and delicate spices. On the palate, the wine shows excellent structure: ripe, velvety tannins, clear freshness and precise minerality combine with dark fruit. The finish is long, elegant and powerful at the same time. A Bordeaux with great ageing potential, ideal with lamb, beef or mature cheese.
