This wine presents itself as a powerful yet elegant Saint-Julien from an excellent vintage. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red colour with purple reflections. The nose is intense and complex, characterised by blackcurrants, cassis, ripe plums and subtle notes of cedar wood, tobacco, leather and a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine impresses with ripe, firm but well-integrated tannins, lively freshness and a clear structure. The dark fruit aromas blend harmoniously with hints of chocolate, spices and mineral notes. The finish is long, precise and elegant. A classic Bordeaux with great ageing potential, ideal with lamb, beef or mature cheese.
