Blended Scotch Whisky - Batch NO 1, Limited Release
This blended scotch was created in the pioneering spirit of the Glenlee, using a rare blend of single malt and grain whiskies from legendary distilleries around Scotland. Powerful malts from Orkney and Islay combine with rich, fruity malts from Speyside and sweet, creamy grain from the Lowlands, to create a smooth, multi-layered dram.
To honour the great origins of the historic ship, we present you with a quality blend of Scotch whisky, matured in the finest oak casks. Sales of this whisky will help maintain the Glenlee.

Description
Built in 1896, the Glenlee was one of ten steel sailing ships commissioned by Archibald Sterling & Co. While in service, she circumnavigated the globe four times, and passed through the storms of Cape Horn fifteen times. In 1922, she was purchased by the Spanish Navy and turned into a training vessel. By the 1980s, she was left completely forgotten in Seville Harbour, only to be re-discovered and rescued from dereliction by the Clyde Maritime Trust in 1992. Today she stands fully restored, on the Clyde, right next to the Riverside Museum at Glasgow Harbour, and is now a museum ship known as The Tall Ship.
Nose: Beautiful aromas of fruit, toffee, caramel, vanilla tones and herbs on the nose.
Tongue: Very smooth and slightly caramel. Rich, fruity malts from Speyside and sweet, creamy grain from the Lowlands of Scottland.
Aged: 3 years. Matured in the finest oak casks.
