Ried Grassnitzberg is a closed, south-southeast facing vineyard with sandy-loamy weathered shell limestone soils. Strong night cooling allows cool, spicy-mineral wines full of fruit depth and saltiness to mature. The Sauvignon grapes of the Grassnitzberg Reserve come from the "Riff " parcel, which is which is characterised by a high concentration of grapes and intensive air circulation. This wine is only vinified in the best vinified.
