A hint of limes, gooseberries, lime blossoms, white nectarines, very wide-ranging aromas; enormous juiciness on the palate, noble spiciness, tremendous length; endowed with an almost infinite ageing potential.
Recommended food: smoked trout, warm char, goose or duck, game dishes,
braised beef (shoulder of ox, shoulder of shank), steak.

"The Pössnitzberg vineyard is predestined as a special white wine terroir. The interplay of soil structure and climatic factors makes this vineyard so distinctive and the wines of the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety so authentic. This wine from the Pössnitzberg is one of our rarities.
salty on the palate with a taut structure and has a high longevity. The harvest is limited to a maximum of 45hl. As a rarity, this wine may be put on sale from 1 May at the earliest after 30 months of ageing." Erwin Sabathi
