Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2013

DOMAINE PIERRE MOREY

Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2013

Nestled just below Montrachet, this vineyard boasts rich, well-draining soil, a perfect setting. The wine offers delightful contrasts: initially powerful and rich, it matures gracefully over time.

Hand-harvested grapes are swiftly sorted, lightly crushed, and pressed with gentle increments in the pneumatic membrane press. Musts rest in tanks for 12 to 24 hours, facilitating light débourbage while retaining essential lees that nourish natural yeasts. Following the initial fermentation, meticulous batonnage occurs two or three times weekly, ensuring a refined character.
