Since 1889, the winery has remained in family hands, with Bernhard Ott taking the reins in 1995 as the fourth generation. At just 22 years old, he stepped into the estate with great ambition and a mind full of ideas. His main focus is on enhancing the finesse, richness, and elegance of Grüner Veltliner. Today, 90% of the 16-hectare vineyards are devoted to his beloved grape variety. Through his unwavering dedication, Ott has quickly risen from an insider's tip to become the shining star of the Austrian wine scene.
Nose: Pale yellow-green, silver reflexes in the glass. Fine white fruit, almost riesling-like stone fruit nuances, delicate hints of lime zest, floral touch.
Tongue: Tight, close-knit, white core fruit, finesse-rich acidity structure, dark-mineral-salty finish.
Pairing recommendation: A delicately effective food wine with assured aging potential. Serve at 8 - 10°C.
