In the southwest, north of Toulouse and east of Bordeaux, lies the appellation of Cahors. Halfway between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, the appellation benefits from an ideal microclimate for the ripening of Malbec.
Its soils, clay and limestone, are the guarantors of freshness in the wines.

When you pour the Expression into the carafe, an intense aroma of elderberries and plums, blackberries and blueberries, of a little cassis and quite a lot of mint, also of some graphite, cedar wood, chocolate and mocha escapes from the inky black Cahors with deep dark violet reflections.
