54 % of the grapes of this Multivintage come from the 2017 harvest and give the champagne its very special note. In addition, 12% of the reserve wines in this blend were matured in wooden barrels and 34% from the Réserve Perpétuelle, Roederer's "eternal reserve". The result is a magnificent, complex and full-bodied multi-vintage champagne that is second to none.

The company was founded in 1760 under the name Dubois Père & Fils. In 1827, the company was acquired by Nicolas-Henri Schneider, who in turn hired his nephew Louis Roederer as an employee. In 1833, Louis Roederer took over the company and continued to run it under his name. The company has remained in the family ever since. Until the October Revolution, Russia was the most important market for the Louis Roederer company. The famous Roederer Cristal champagne was created especially for the Russian Tsar and is still very popular today.
