Château Beychevelle
The Château Beychevelle 2003 is a powerful Saint-Julien from a very warm vintage, offering full fruit and ripe tannins. The nose is dominated by dark fruits such as cassis, blackberries and plums, complemented by aromas of cedar wood, tobacco, chocolate and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is lush and full-bodied, with round, well-integrated tannins and a noticeable warmth typical of the 2003 vintage. The fruit is intense, supported by a soft acidity, and the finish is long and full-bodied, powerful and concentrated. A Bordeaux with presence, it pairs particularly well with hearty meat dishes or mature cheeses.
