Description

The "Termite" olive is grown exclusively in the fields around Bitetto, Bitonto, Bitritto, Grumo Appula, Modugno, Palo del Colle, Sannicandro di Bari and Toritto. It is these soils that give the olives their particular organoleptic characteristics, such as taste, fragrance and firm flesh. Left natural, the green-purple to black olives initially give the palate a gentle taste sensation, which is followed by a very slightly bitter aftertaste when they are preserved in brine. Preparation tips: These olives are particularly suitable for aperitifs and Italian antipasti; they are also great on pizzas, foccaccas and with main courses of fish or meat.
