The vineyards are planted with 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. The wine is aged in 50% new barriques. The style of Grand-Puy-Lacoste is generally fruity, intense with rich cassis and cedar aromas and a broad tannin framework that allows for long ageing and maturation.
