This Balsamico al Tartufo from Giusti combines the depth of character of an Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP with the noble, velvety aroma of black truffle. It matures together with dried truffles in old oak barrels until the aromas develop in a harmonious and balanced way. On the palate, this specialty has a dense, aromatic texture: the finely balanced sweet and sour profile of the balsamic vinegar is enriched by notes of plums and red fruits - subtly and elegantly underlined by the earthy truffle tone. It is made exclusively from cooked grape must, wine vinegar and dried black truffle; ageing in wooden barrels gives it additional depth and roundness.
Ideal for refining:
fresh pasta, risotto with porcini mushrooms, tartare, omelettes, grilled meat, egg dishes or mature cheese. It also reveals its full aroma on grilled vegetables, canapés or pizza.
