Franz Xaver Pichler, the uncompromising winemaker on the beautiful blue Danube near Dürnstein in the Wachau. He gives his masterpieces poetic names that symbolise the power and depth of the Rieslings and Grüner Veltliners. For all his pride in his successes, Pichler is never satisfied. And before each harvest he has either sleepless nights or nightmares.
