Paul Achs' Blaufränkisch Ungerberg reveals itself in a deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core. This is followed by an attractive bouquet of ripe heart cherries, fine plum confit and candied orange zest. Floral nuances complete the pleasure. On the palate, the Blaufränkisch Ungerberg from Lake Neusiedl is very juicy with extra-sweet texture, fine cherry fruit resonates. Paul Achs vinified a red wine, which is an elegant food companion.
