Each year, the mildest and most aromatic distillates, previously selected by the METAXA Master, enter cask No. 3, by which time some of them have already undergone a maturation process of more than eight decades. The distillate has spent this time marrying and maturing its special contents in a process of endless rejuvenation. The deep mahogany-coloured METAXA AEN IIl offers a lush aroma of dried fruit, citrus zest and wild honey, followed by a warm, velvety taste of spices and mocha.
