The Mathier family, rooted in the Wallis since the 14th century, has crafted a unique wine tradition over generations. For over 80 years, Albert Mathier & Sons has been a family-run business, blending enjoyment with tradition. In the sun-soaked Wallis, boasting over 2,000 hours of sunlight annually, vines thrive in light, well-ventilated, chalky soils. Chasselas, proudly known as Fendant, stands as the emblem of Wallis wine culture.

Nose: Mineral notes, initial aroma of apple accompanied by pear, banana, and tropical fruits like pineapple. In the glass, it exhibits a pale yellow color with a gray shimmer.
Mouth: Long entry with a sweet note, a fruity aroma in the midsection, and a well-balanced interplay of sweetness and acidity that keeps the wine lively. The finish is short.
Pairing recommendation: This Fendant is perfect as an aperitif and pairs exceptionally well with fondue, raclette, and other cheese dishes. Serve at 8 - 10°C.
