This wine presents itself in the glass with a deep, shiny dark ruby colour and impressive density. On the nose, it unfolds an intense, multi-layered aroma of cassis, black cherry and ripe plum, accompanied by subtle notes of graphite, mocha, gentle spice and discreetly toasted French oak. On the palate, the wine is rich and precisely structured: ripe, dark fruit combines with powerful but very elegantly integrated tannins and a fresh, well-balanced acidity. The long, harmonious finish reveals mineral depth, dark berries and subtle roasted aromas. The 2020 vintage is powerful yet exceptionally smooth and has excellent ageing potential.
