Novellum Chardonnay 2022
The 2022 Novellum Chardonnay from Domaine Lafage is simply enchanting. It boasts dominant fruit notes with subtle spicy and mineral undertones reminiscent of vanilla and flint. Partially aged in stainless steel and partly in oak barrels, this Chardonnay is smooth and consistent, never dull, and incredibly drinkable. It has great aging potential to enhance its complex flavours.

Nose: Aromas of ripe citrus fruits, white peach, vanilla notes, and subtle wood nuances.
Tongue: Intense straw yellow in the glass. Fruity with hints of tropical fruits, pineapple, peach, and apricot, complemented by floral notes of honeysuckle. Full-bodied, fresh, and enveloping on the palate, carried by a good structure and long finish.
Pairing recommendation: Perfect with pasta with scallops, fine poultry dishes, and cold chicken salad. Serve at 8 - 12°C.
