Smaragd is the designation for the best and most valuable wines from "Vinea Wachau" vintners with an alcohol content of 12.5% vol. or higher. Highest grape ripeness and natural concentration enable wines of world-class caliber.
Nose: Inviting bouquet of vineyard peaches, underscored with grapefruit zest, a hint of guava, and subtle meadow herb notes. Underlined by delicate floral honey and mineral notes. Medium yellow-green with silver reflections in the glass.
Mouth: Delicate white fruit with a subtle touch of stone fruit and a fresh structure. Filigree and mineral, a finely crafted Riesling with secure developmental potential.
Pairing: Serve at 10 - 12°C.
