Pollastrini’s vintage sardines are caught exclusively in autumn, when they are particularly aromatic and rich in natural fat. Preserved in high-quality olive oil, they mature over time into an exceptional delicacy and develop a particularly delicate, intense flavour. Ideal on their own on toasted bread, with pasta or as a Mediterranean starter.
