The Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Reggio Emilia DOP from Il Borgo del Balsamico is a masterpiece of vinegar production from the Reggio Emilia region in Italy. This balsamic vinegar is made exclusively from cooked grape must from DOC vines in the region and is aged for at least 12 years in traditional wooden barrels made from chestnut, oak, cherry, acacia, juniper and ash wood. The result is a complex, harmonious vinegar with a mild, fruity note and a slightly peppery spiciness.
