The Grüner Veltliner Honivogl is juicy and powerful, with yellow tropical fruit aromas, delicate smoky-tobacco tones, salty minerality and a subtle honey touch. Year after year, this complex, long-lived wine is a regular on international white wine rankings.
Hirtzberger wines impress with outstanding quality even in difficult vintages, distinctive terroir typicity with fine minerality and great elegance. With late harvesting and fermentation without yeast additions, the qualities and resources of the Spitz vineyards are additionally utilised and made tangible: velvety texture, elegant acidity and delicious fruit elicit top ratings from tasters every year.

For generations, Hirtzberger has been striving to create excellent wine in varietal purity. Today, as in the past, they achieve this by applying tried and tested methods. It is particularly important to them to produce wines that are characteristic of the terroir and convey their origin, variety, vineyard and the respective vintage in an unmistakable and unadulterated way.
Nose: Medium greenish yellow, in the nose very inviting yellow fruit nuances of apricots and passion fruit, delicate grapefruit.
Tongue: On the palate complex, tightly meshed, again fine yellow peach, juicy, mineral spiciness, lingers. Very good development potential.
Pairing recommendation: Excellent with fish dishes and spicy Asian cuisine.
