An autochthonous tribute to tradition. Harvested from the oldest vines with small-grape Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent grapes. Aged for 40 months in new barriques. 95 % Blaufränkisch, 5 % St. Laurent.

The colour of the wine is dark ruby with violet reflections. On the nose, one finds ripe black cherries, fine wild berry confit with delicate herbal spice-a highly attractive bouquet. On the palate, the wine is complex, very elegant with a pleasant fruit sweetness, fine ripe tannins and a pleasant freshness in the finish. The wine is already very balanced and is a multi-faceted food companion with ageing potential.
Recommended food: Dark meat, game dishes.
Origin: Austria / Burgenland
Alcohol content: 15%.
