The Dalmore 15Y
The 15-year-old Dalmore is first matured in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak. This brings out subtle notes of vanilla and honey. It is then finished exclusively in three hand-selected types of sherry casks – Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem Oloroso. The result is a rich, fruity whisky with notes of raisins, candied orange peel, spices and dark chocolate. Complex and harmonious, with a long, warm finish.

In the glass, Dalmore 15Y presents a shiny warm amber, the bouquet is multi-layered, with the fruity nuances of citrus, complemented by spices and a hint of chocolate. Clear citrus notes also develop on the tongue, accompanied by vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of sherry. The aftertaste is intense and of satisfying length, with fine roasted flavours and some citrus.
