"Although 2016 was, as usual, rather dry and sunny, it was characterised by particularly favourable conditions for ripening. The cool nights had a very favourable effect on the aroma and acidity, while the sparse summer rains produced ripe and concentrated grapes. All these elements combine to create a magnificent version of Ornellaia Bianco, which captivates with its golden colour and treats the nose to aromas of perfectly ripened citrus fruits and minerals. This wine caresses the palate with its lushness and steely, juicy acidity on the finish."
