Brancaia CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA is made from the best Sangiovese grapes from the Brancaia and Poppi vineyards and a little Merlot. The wine is aged for 16 months in French barriques - half of which are new - and then matures for a few months in the bottle.
Tasting note: Intense, medium to full-bodied wine. Long bouquet of black fruits and a continuum of spices, leather, tar and earth. The mouthfeel is structured, fresh and juicy in equal parts.
Food recommendation: Goes perfectly with grilled meat, roast beef and veal, stews, grilled fish and pasta dishes with a strong sauce.
