This wine is an elegant, balanced Saint-Julien from a very successful vintage. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose is complex: blackcurrants, cassis and dark cherries combine with subtle notes of cedar wood, tobacco, leather and a hint of spices. On the palate, the wine impresses with ripe, velvety tannins, clear freshness and a fine structure. The dark fruit harmonises with mineral nuances, while the finish remains long, elegant and precise. A classic Bordeaux with excellent ageing potential, ideal with lamb, beef or mature cheese.
