Nose: Richly oily with notes of extra virgin olive oil, briarwood, aromatic herbs like coriander and sage, and a hint of smoked lemon zest. A splash of water reveals additional oiliness akin to linseed oil, with a subtle waxy quality, aromatic carbolic soap, and a touch of crème brûlée.
Tongue: A soft, oily texture with a rich, sweet-smoky flavour. Tastes of oak moss, molasses, anise candies with a lovely sweet-woody balsamic undertone, hints of smoked apricots, and eucalyptus oil follow.
Finish: Persistent, sweet-smoky, with traces of cumin, cardamom, and a hint of coconut.
