The 2008 has as an immediate impression the mild, pure, airy and bright tone of a bouquet of flowers. Afterwards, it continues floral, mixed with fruity tones, before candied fruits, hay and toasted notes unfold, together with a hint of liquorice. On the palate, the Dom Perignon of this vintage is opulent, contains juicy notes, then becomes more complex and almost edgy, before becoming silkier and creamier again. The finish shows an unusual note in this French champagne, which is almost reminiscent of salty seawater.
