Riesling vom Rotliegenden 2018

The Riesling is an all-rounder. They are wines with a mineral and acid note. They belong to the very good storable white wines, which can still develop wonderfully both dry and with residual sweetness.

The wine shows the perfect interplay between maturity and minerality, fruit and acidity, as well as density and balance. Typical of the site, the aroma is characterized on the one hand by the soil "Rotliegendes" with its distinctive mineral aromas - smoke, pepper, flint, hay, tea, herbs - on the other hand come from the grape variety Riesling citrus, apple, peach and apricot aromas.
This double play is also repeated in taste: the grape variety contributes the fruity and the soil the herbaceous-spicy, mineral taste.
Like all Rebholz wines, this wine has very great aging potential.
