The history of this winery dates back to 1885. The more recent history, however, began in 1969 with the arrival of winemaking luminary Paul Draper. Together with the reputation for its outstanding "Premier Cru" Monte Bello Cabernet, Ridge is considered a true Zinfandel specialist.

Description

The Geyserville vineyard is located at the northern end of the Sonoma Valley. It dates back to the 19th century and is planted with over 100-year-old vines, 3/4 Zinfandel plus Carignane, Petite Sirah and Mataro. The storable wine impresses with power and elegance, a fiery race and intense aromas of black fruits and spices.
