Das Weingut Cos d’Estournel liegt in der Gemeinde Saint-Estèphe im Médoc. Vom berühmten Château Lafite-Rothschild ist es nur durch einen Bach getrennt. Bei der Bordeaux-Klassifizierung im Jahre 1855 erhielt das Château (damals unter dem Namen „Cos Destournel“) den zweiten Rang (Deuxième Cru Classé).

The Cos d'Estournel vineyard is located in the commune of Saint-Estèphe in the Médoc. It is separated from the famous Château Lafite-Rothschild only by a stream. In the Bordeaux classification of 1855, the Château (then called "Cos Destournel") was awarded second place (Deuxième Cru Classé).
