Matured drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal, then aged in handcrafted barrels from Jack Daniel's own production. Tennessee whiskey doesn't follow a calendar. It's not ready until Jack Daniel's tasters say it is. The whiskey is judged on its appearance, aroma and, of course, how it tastes. That's how Jack Daniel's itself did it over a century ago. And that's how it's still done today.
Aroma: Slightly smoky with oak.
Taste: Sweet and fruity with caramel, oak and vanilla.
Finish: Mild, dry and balanced.
