Riesling Engelberg Traisental DAC 2020

Riesling Engelberg Traisental DAC 2020

When Ludwig Neumayer decided to continue his parents' farm as a winery in the 1980s, the Traisental winegrowing region did not exist. Together with his brother Karl, he had big plans: he wanted to tell the story of his vines, to give the wine individuality and virtuosity. As a result, it did not take long for the humble Traisental to find itself in reviews by Robert Parker, Decanter and other renowned publications thanks to Ludwig and Karl Neumayer - the beginning of an improbable success story.

The Riesling vines are cultivated by Ludwig Neumayer on limestone and primary rock sites. Lush pome fruit, above all apricot and peach. The light-footedness of Traisentaler Riesling makes for pleasant drinking and spans the palate with a fresh arc of acidity. An ideal summer wine that can be combined with food in many ways.
