"Sarpa" is Veneto dialect and means "marc"' the raw material from which grappa is distilled.
First produced in 1991, Sarpa Oro is matured for several years in the distillery's underground cellars. Here, about 4000 oak barriques with a capacity of 225 litres are stored.
Sarpa Oro is simply a perfect grappa: it embodies the great evolution of this distillate, from a popular product to an Italian symbol, world-famous.
