The Poli Distillery is an artisan grappa distillery owned exclusively by the Poli family and founded in 1898 in Schiavon near Bassano del Grappa in the heart of Veneto, Italy. The distillery is currently run by Jacopo Poli together with his siblings Giampaolo, Barbara and Andrea.

Description

Grape variety: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
Sarpa is Veneto dialect and means 'marc' the 'raw material' from which grappa is distilled. Sarpa is made from the marc of grape varieties with a floral and slightly herbaceous aroma' which are distilled in copper stills with single cycles under steam. The aroma unfolds grassy fresh, of mint, rose and geranium. The taste is rustic, masculine, sincere and generous.
