Description

Cragganmore 12 Years is a single malt Scotch whisky. This means that it is distilled exclusively from malted barley in copper pot stills. The barley for the Cragganmore whiskies has a very low peat content. This whisky probably matures exclusively in ex-bourbon casks for at least 12 years. Its taste is therefore pleasantly fresh, fruity and slightly floral, but without being overbearing. Tasting slightly of malt and vanilla, the whisky is rounded off with a smoky note and provides a sweet finish. There are no superficial, strong flavours. Rather, this malt shines with an elegant balance that has rarely been achieved so well.
