Les Meysonniers Crozes-Hermitage 2018

Michel Chapoutier was just 25 years old when he took over the vineyard, founded in 1808, from his father in 1990 and consistently converted to biodynamic cultivation. Michel Chapoutier believes that great wines are created in the vineyard and not in the cellar. On the one hand, his wines should reflect the terroir in a pronounced way, and on the other hand, they should be excellent food companions. The winery owns plots in the top appellations of the southern and northern Rhône, such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape or Hermitage.

Aromas of blackcurrants and raspberries are accompanied by subtle notes of violets. Full-bodied, dense and round on the palate with a fruity-spicy finish.
The grapes come from vines that are at least 25 years old. After a selective harvest, the grapes are pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature in concrete tanks. The wine is then matured for 12 months.
