The Cardenal Mendoza Brandy is produced according to the secret family recipe of the owner family. This has been a secret for several centuries and it is only known that only the best wines are selected for the production. For a single litre of Cardenal Mendoza Brandy, 6 litres of first-class wine are needed! Afterwards, the brandy is stored in small American white oak barrels according to the elaborate Solera method.

Cardenal Mendoza Clásico
Bright, transparent and dark mahogany in colour. Round, clean, elegant with an aroma reminiscent of wine. Long, warm and balanced on the palate, without sharpness. It has personality, a harmony of subtle flavours followed by an intense finish of sultanas and plums. This is Cardenal Mendoza Clasico, a Solera Gran Reserva Brandy made from a selection of the finest distilled holandas or brandies, matured according to the traditional "Solera y Criaderas" system. The casks used for the ageing of Cardenal Mendoza, previously treated with Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry, form one of the largest ageing cellars for Solera Gran Reserva, a guarantee of the age and quality of this brandy.
TASTING NOTES: Very dark, bright, transparent, seductive Clean, round, elegant, reminiscent of wine, noble, sultanas. Very soft, round, perfect balance, long, warm tone, old oak, slightly sweet.
Alcohol content: 40 % vol.
Goes with: After dinner, coffee, Havana cigars.
